The Czech republic is one of the first countries to totally legalize same sex unions and grant these unions many of the same benefits that straight married couples enjoy. In a recent poll, up to fifty two percent of the country was actually in favor of gay marriage, which is a sharp contrast to the rest of Europe which is only about forty four percent.
